Scrapbook Extras

Don't rely only on photos and bought embellishments for your scrapbook pages. Try using some of these extra items in your scrapbooking, and you will add another dimension to your pages:

• Ticket stubs from cinema, theatre, sporting events and so on
• Invitations
• Letters (thank you letters, etc)
• Postcards
• Maps of towns or cities
• Matchbook covers
• Brochures picked up when sightseeing
• Report cards
• Essays or jottings for essays
• Greeting cards
• Receipts or menus from restaurants
• Airline tickets, train tickets and so on
• Stamps
• Place cards from special meals
• Programs from concerts, theatre
• Playing cards
• Business cards
• Ephemera from flea markets, antique shops, jumble sales etc
• Articles from newspapers and magazines
• Headlines cut out from printed medium such as magazines
• Pages from old books (color plates perhaps)
• Scraps of gift wrap from a birthday or Christmas
